TAVEN External Seller Rules

TAVEN External Seller Rules

These rules apply to sellers who choose to sell independently on external marketplaces outside the official TAVEN marketplace. Sellers must operate responsibly, protect customers, follow marketplace policies, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Important Legal and Business Notice

External marketplace selling is independent. TAVEN SYSTEM LLC does not control your personal marketplace accounts, seller verification, payment accounts, payouts, account health, suspensions, tax reporting, customer disputes, shipping performance, or refunds outside the official TAVEN marketplace. By selling outside TAVEN, you accept full responsibility for your own business operations.

1. Seller Eligibility Requirements

Identity and Business Information

Sellers must provide accurate identity, business, contact, and payment information when required by TAVEN or by any external marketplace.

Legal Capacity

Sellers must be legally allowed to operate a business, open seller accounts, receive payments, sell products, and comply with tax and marketplace requirements.

Independent Seller Status

Sellers are independent operators. Selling outside TAVEN does not create employment, partnership, agency, franchise, or joint venture status with TAVEN SYSTEM LLC.

Marketplace Approval

Sellers are responsible for getting approved by TikTok Shop, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, Walmart, or any marketplace they choose to use.

2. Independent Marketplace Responsibility

Sellers who sell on external marketplaces must create, manage, and protect their own marketplace accounts. Sellers must not connect personal marketplace accounts to the main TAVEN admin system, main TAVEN Shopify account, main TAVEN payment account, or main TAVEN external seller tool account.

TAVEN may provide education, product guidance, approved product lists, pricing rules, and general marketplace support, but the seller remains responsible for external account performance and compliance.

3. Core Seller Responsibilities

Product Accuracy

Product titles, photos, descriptions, sizes, colors, materials, quantities, delivery times, and specifications must be accurate and not misleading.

Customer Protection

Sellers must treat customers with respect, respond professionally, provide clear information, and resolve issues fairly.

Order Fulfillment

Sellers must process orders on time, use reliable suppliers, verify stock, and avoid selling products they cannot deliver.

Tracking Updates

Sellers must provide valid tracking numbers when available and update customers or marketplaces when shipping status changes.

Marketplace Compliance

Sellers must follow the policies of each marketplace they use, including listing rules, shipping rules, returns, prohibited products, and account health standards.

Taxes and Records

Sellers are responsible for maintaining records, reporting income, handling tax obligations, and consulting a tax professional when needed.

4. Product Approval and Product Standards

Sellers may only sell products that meet TAVEN standards or products that are approved for external marketplace selling. A product must have safe usage, accurate information, clean images, reliable sourcing, acceptable shipping, and enough profit margin.

Allowed Categories

Fashion accessories, home essentials, beauty tools, lifestyle products, tech accessories, travel items, and premium everyday products.

Required Product Quality

Products must be clean, safe, properly described, not deceptive, and suitable for the marketplace where they are listed.

Supplier Responsibility

Sellers must verify supplier reliability, inventory availability, product quality, shipping time, and return handling before listing.

5. Products Not Allowed

Sellers must not list or promote any product that creates legal risk, customer harm, payment risk, platform suspension risk, or brand damage.

Counterfeit goods, fake branded items, unauthorized replicas, stolen goods, or products using another brand’s intellectual property without permission.
Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, dangerous chemicals, hazardous materials, or products requiring special legal permits.
Restricted medical products, prescription products, misleading health products, illegal supplements, or products making unverified health claims.
Unsafe electronics, recalled products, defective products, children’s products without required safety compliance, or products with known safety hazards.
Adult products, offensive products, hate-related products, illegal surveillance products, fake documents, or products violating marketplace policies.
Any product that violates U.S. law, state law, import/export restrictions, marketplace rules, payment processor rules, or TAVEN standards.

6. Pricing, Profit, and Fee Responsibility

Minimum Price Rule

Sellers must not sell below the approved minimum price when TAVEN provides a minimum price, MAP rule, or product pricing instruction.

Cost Coverage

Seller pricing must cover product cost, shipping, marketplace fees, payment processing, returns, refunds, chargebacks, packaging, taxes, and profit.

No Deceptive Pricing

Sellers must not use false discounts, fake original prices, misleading sale claims, hidden fees, or deceptive urgency tactics.

7. Shipping, Delivery, and Fulfillment Rules

Sellers must have a reasonable basis for every shipping promise. If a seller promises a delivery or shipping timeframe, the seller must be able to meet that timeframe. If a delay happens, the seller must communicate clearly with the customer and follow the rules of the marketplace where the order was placed.

Processing Time

Sellers must process orders within the timeframe shown on the listing or marketplace policy.

Tracking

Sellers must upload valid tracking when available and avoid fake, recycled, incorrect, or misleading tracking numbers.

Delays

If shipping is delayed, sellers must notify the customer promptly and follow refund or cancellation requirements.

Lost or Damaged Orders

Sellers are responsible for resolving lost packages, damaged products, wrong items, missing items, and delivery disputes on external marketplaces.

8. Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, and Chargebacks

Return Policy

Sellers must clearly follow the return policy of the marketplace where the sale was made and must not hide return terms from customers.

Refund Responsibility

Sellers are responsible for refunds, replacements, cancellations, shipping errors, defective products, and customer claims on external sales.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Sellers must keep order proof, tracking proof, customer messages, supplier invoices, and delivery records to defend disputes and chargebacks.

9. Customer Service Standards

Sellers must protect the customer experience. A seller must answer questions professionally, avoid abusive language, provide honest updates, and handle problems quickly.

  • Respond to customer messages within a reasonable time.
  • Do not ignore complaints, returns, refunds, or delivery issues.
  • Do not blame TAVEN for sales made outside the official TAVEN marketplace.
  • Do not make promises that are not supported by product or supplier facts.
  • Keep all communication professional, respectful, and documented.

10. Advertising, Affiliate, and Content Rules

Truthful Claims

Sellers must not make false or exaggerated claims about product quality, delivery time, health benefits, income, profit, results, or customer experience.

Disclosure

If a seller promotes products with affiliate links, commissions, sponsorships, or paid relationships, the seller must clearly disclose the relationship when required.

Reviews and Testimonials

Sellers must not create fake reviews, buy fake testimonials, hide negative reviews, or make customer reviews misleading.

11. Branding and Intellectual Property Rules

Sellers must respect trademarks, copyrights, brand names, logos, product images, videos, descriptions, and creative assets. Sellers must not copy another company’s content or use brand names in a misleading way.

  • Do not sell fake branded products.
  • Do not use TAVEN branding without approval.
  • Do not use another company’s images, videos, or descriptions without permission.
  • Do not claim to be an official representative of TAVEN unless authorized in writing.
  • Do not register domains, social media accounts, or ads that confuse customers about TAVEN ownership.

12. Customer Data and Privacy Responsibility

Use Data Only for Orders

Sellers must use customer information only for order fulfillment, support, returns, refunds, and legally permitted business purposes.

Protect Customer Information

Sellers must protect names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, order details, and payment-related information.

No Misuse

Sellers must not sell customer data, spam customers, move customers off-platform improperly, or misuse private information.

13. Taxes, Permits, Licenses, and Legal Compliance

Sellers are responsible for understanding and meeting their own legal obligations. This may include business registration, seller permits, sales tax obligations, income tax reporting, import/export requirements, product compliance rules, and marketplace verification.

TAVEN does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or customs advice. Sellers should consult qualified professionals when necessary.

14. TAVEN Rights and Enforcement

TAVEN SYSTEM LLC may deny, restrict, suspend, remove, or terminate seller access if a seller violates TAVEN standards, creates legal risk, damages the brand, misleads customers, sells prohibited products, abuses customers, or fails to meet marketplace responsibilities.

  • TAVEN may remove unapproved product references or brand usage.
  • TAVEN may require correction of misleading product claims.
  • TAVEN may deny access to approved product lists or seller tools.
  • TAVEN may report serious violations to the marketplace, payment processor, supplier, or legal authority when required.
  • TAVEN may update seller rules at any time to protect the business, customers, sellers, and brand.
